Thanks Illori.  I did have a quick look at that file, but really wasn't sure what I was looking for, especially as some of the mods used are outdated etc..

I'll put your suggestion to the team and see what they want to do..

post.php maybe. i would be tempted to load clean files first and reinstall the mods to see if that helps as this could have an effect left over from an uninstalled mod that did not cleanly uninstall.

Here's one for you.  Not my forum, but one I help moderate.

When replying, or quoting it keeps adding a "Re:" to the subject line.  so ending up with the subject like this for example,  Re:   Re:   Re: Site changes  A screenshot is included below.

Any idea what file(s) and where to look to find the problem.  This site is currently running 2.0.13, but will update to 14 soon.

Mods installed are,

. Spam Blocker 1.0
. SMF Topic Prefix Mod 1.2.2
. Topic Solved 1.1.1
. Country Flags 1.1.2

So it will be that such people will be able to log in, but will not be able to browse the Forums or post therein. This is exactly what I am aiming at.

Kindly confirm.

Does the License you speak of prohibit using the SMF platform for propagating adult material and pornography.

unless a user is banned there is no way to keep them from logging in.

without some details your question really does not have an answer. there is the license that SMF is released under that has to be followed.

Hello:

If I create a Member Group "Nuisances" and deny them all permissions, what will be the result? Will they still be able to log on?
